Thomas Joseph Niles, age 43 of Philadelphia, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012. Joe was a member of Loudon Cumberland Presbyterian Church; a graduate of Loudon High School, Class of 1986 and an employee of Denso in Athens since 1999. Preceded in death by brother, Kevin Niles. Survivors include his sons, Ethan Niles, Evan Niles and Eli Niles; wife, Lisa (Purdy) Niles, mother, Joyce Niles, all of Philadelphia; father, Jim Niles, Sr. and wife, Theresa, Ashville, NC; sister and brother in-law, Nancy and Dave Couch, Boston, MA; brothers, Jimmy Niles and Neil Niles, both of Maryville, Don Perkins, Wilmington, NC; niece and nephews, Erin, Andrew, Austin and Jerrod. Graveside services 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 11 in Loudon County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Hester officiating. The family will receive friends 11:30 –1:00 PM and 5:30 – 7:30 PM Tuesday at McGill-Karnes Funeral Home, Loudon.
