Verline Dills Howell, age 79 of Loudon, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Park West Hospital. Mrs. Howell was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Howell and parents, Julies and Lueceil (Jenkins) Dills. Survivors included brothers and sisters in-law, DeOttis and Wanda Dills, Ray Otis and Debbie Dills, all of Loudon; nieces and husbands, Trina and Doug Davis, Lenoir City, Karen and Jimmy Ridge, Philadelphia; nephew and wife, Jamie Ray and Wendy Dills, Loudon. Services honoring and remembering Verline Howell will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, May 9th in McGill-Karnes Chapel with Rev. Bobby Lawson officiating. Interment to follow in Loudon County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:30 PM Wednesday prior to the service at McGill-Karnes Funeral Home.
