Elizabeth Jean DeLozier McCall, age 89 of Loudon passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at her home. Jean was a member of Loudon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Along time educator, Jean began her career as a Home Economic instructor and later taught science and chemistry. Jean had also served as a guidance counselor and the Assistant Principal at Loudon High School. She finished her career with more than 40 years with the Loudon County School system serving as the School Food Service Supervisor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Oliver and Mae Elizabeth (Flanagan) DeLozier, husband, Charles Franklin McCall and brother, Dr. Oliver DeLozier. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Larah and Curtis McConkey, Lenoir City, sons and daughter in-law, Mike and Susan McCall, Kingston, Franklin McCall, Loudon; grandchildren, Chris McConkey, Adrianne and Tim Russell, all of Loudon, Whitney McCall, Cleveland, GA and Ashley McCall, Kingston; brother, Dr Joseph D. DeLozier, II and wife, Vicki, Knoxville; sister, FloLee Barnes, Knoxville. Services honoring and remembering Jean McCall will be held 7:30 PM Friday, May 25, Loudon Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Nick Coker and Rev. Gene Russell officiating. Interment 10:00 AM Saturday in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:30 PM Friday prior to the service at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
