Brenton Robert Ward, born December 20, 1921 passed away July 4th at Park West Medical Center. Mr. Ward was a US Army veteran serving during WWII and was the recipient of a Bronze Star for his participation in the Battle for Luzon. Retired from Union Carbide/Viskase Corp. following 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Ward and Maggie (Millsaps) Ward; sister, Molly Deford and brother, Baxter Ward. He is survived by his wife of 61 years and devoted caregiver for over 15 years, Betty Sue (Bivens) Ward, Loudon; daughter, Sandra Cobb and husband, John; son, Brenton Robert Ward, Jr.; grandchildren, John Cobb, Jr. and wife, Lindsey, all of Loudon, Bryanne Clowers and husband, Josh of Harriman; great granddaughter, Kallie Clowers.
